Getting Started:

To
use Hertzer Tec Jot, just Right Click anywhere.
·
File
extensions can also be set up by right clicking a file, choosing 'Open With'
and browsing for Hertzer Tec Jot

Get
up to speed by learning the commands. See the commands section of this
information document, or click 'Command List' in the 'Jot' sub-menu in the main
menu.

Information on the New Autosave:
Hertzer
Tec Jot 5.0 takes large steps to make it hard to lose your document
accidentally or because of computer failure. Hertzer Tec Jot 5.0 introduces Autosave. It is disabled by default, so if you at any time
want to turn on autosave, go to the menu by right clicking,
choose “Document” and click on “Autosave.” Jot now
automatically saves your document to "Autosave.jot" in the current user's
‘Document’ folder. (Autosave will save to the user's
'Special Folder' which is typically the 'Documents' folder). Your document will
be saved every 30 seconds automatically (starting immediately after you enable autosave). Be sure that autosave
is running on only one open Jot document. More than one autosave
running will result in failure to autosave both documents.
When you wish to load an autosave, go to the menu,
click “Document” and then click on “Load Autosave.”
Note that this can also be done by manually locating the autosave
file in the user's 'Documents' folder (or designated 'Special Folder'). You can
open the autosave with Jot, or any other word proccessor capable of handling Hertzer Tec Jot Documents
(.jot). Autosave is disabled when a document is
opened and the document is cleared.

Updating:
To
check for updates for Hertzer Tec Jot, you can use the Update Manager.

white box at the top will show the latest version of Jot available.

a version higher than 5.0 is available, you can download an updated, free copy

Customize Jot:
Hertzer
Tec Jot has some great ways to customize Jot. You can change the style of menu
and toolbar, change the size of the menu, hide the title bar icon, minimize
box, maximize box, and also change the title bar text to your liking. Hertzer
Tec Jot can also be configured to prevent question prompts and notification
messages from displaying. This is recommended for power users and people who
want to clear their document easily and frequently for text presentations.

new 'Support Center.' Just go to the right-click menu, then click,
"Jot" and then click, "Support Center." This will give you
